“Perhaps you and this Syndicate leader can create a device to help Azura better control her power,” the demon mused.
“Until then, I would like a tour of this airship of yours. If conditions are as accommodating as you say, you will not mind proving it.”
“Until we actually see what type of dimensional shifting, we can’t set it up a head of time. But we can track her at least, so we can get her back.” Crow explains. Gotta be ready and available when they can.
“Anyways here is a map to the ship. We have a lounge and catering area for captives, along with weekly and daily events for people on the ship.” Crow pulls out a map and lays it out.
A lounge? Catering? Daily activities? What was this, a cruise ship? And this guy calls himself a villain? PFAH! Still, Aku wasn’t about to take him at his word, villain or no. He had to be sure that what was presented on the map was true.
“That sounds utterly ridiculous,” Aku remarked as he looked up from the map and locked eyes with Crow. “Which means I must see it. In person.”
She couldn’t help but think to herself how adorable he looked sitting in the cup, she then gently caressed his tiny head with her fingertips.
“So how are you’re wounds? They healing up okay?”
Normally, Aku might take offense at such disrespectful ‘mishandling’ but at the moment he couldn’t bring himself to care. And if he was to be totally honest with himself, he might even admit that he enjoyed the petting.
“Yes, they are mending well,” he answered and twisted his head around so she could pet under his chin.
“I’m glad” Alysa replied, she noticed Aku began to twist his head around. She then figured he wanted her to pet his chin, and of course she just went along with it.
Alysa then gave his chin a good scratch, “I was worried about you, you know. In fact, I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately.”
Aku happily accepted the scritches with a soft rumble. On his chin a tiny tuft of fiery red hair was beginning to grow back. The regeneration process was slowly but clearly underway.
As his generous hostess continued to stroke his neck, the demon cracked open an eye, curious to hear more of what she had to say. “Oh? Do go on,” he urged.
