#i mean he did his ‘raining needles’ act but i needed more #ooc#angry scary Aku where you at? he died when aku developed depression and became unable to truly feel any strong emotions (which is why he doesn’t do much in the way of crazy powers in season 5 since that’s where his power comes from)
So Aku got too lazy and depressed… Let’s roll with this theory for a moment.
What if things had gone a different way? Like for instance if Aku had gone crazy with paranoia. His powers would be out of control and he’d be blowing things up all over the place and sometimes on accident. Imagine how scary he could have been.
“As far as the eye can see the land is desolate and full of despair. Shadows draw across the earth and block out the light. Darkness oozes from every crevice. Hope has been eradicated; only terror reigns! And yet there is one who mocks my omnipresent evil with his existence!”
The kaioshin nodded deeply, understanding Aku’s skepticism. “It’s a very interesting process, milord, but let me forewarn you, though, that unless you are able to travel through time and space like I have, it will not be a simple walk down the park as you would put it.”
Zamasu then extended his hand out, as Aku could see a silver ring on the kai’s right ring finger. “Behold, the Time Ring. In normal circumstances, it was only capable of traveling to the future and back, but…. I made my own…. ‘improvements’ to it.”
Aku bent closer to look at the ring. A device that could create portals through time? And without any expenditure of his own energy? It seemed incredible. It took a great deal of power and energy to produce a time portal in even one direction, which was why Aku did not do it often himself. Not to mention the unintended consequences from playing around with time…
It would be a lie to say that Aku did not immediately want such a powerful object in his own possession, both for his personal use and to keep it out of the Samurai’s hands. But he was shrewd enough to know this could all be a fabrication designed to fool him. There was still more he needed to know.
“What sort of ‘improvements’?” he asked, leaning away. Was the kaioshin going to suggest it was possible to move ‘sideways’ in time?
