I HAVE NOT. holy crap prototype aku looks super weird. I’m glad they went with the oni face and flaming eyebrows in the end. He gets such a wide range of expressions from his huge mouth and eyes. Plus fuzzy beard.
At least now I see where his little dog ears came from. Seems like he traded em in for his eyebrows. I bet the designer looked at prototype aku’s silhouette and thought ‘HEY GUYS, what if his pointy ears were great flaming eyebrows?!?!’
