Any attempts at trying to calm himself down were futile at the insinuation that Black Hat was assisting a hero. Even the notion that he would assist anyone had him growling, teeth gnashing in his mouth. Boiling rage bubbled up in his chest, boiling over to the point where he physically grew a foot, hurrying after Aku. This Yokai could stand to learn a thing or two about respect
The Samurai belonged to him, the SWORD belonged to him, and this display of outright disrespect would not fly.
Going so far as to shift out of reality and back into it in front of Aku, Black reached a larger hand up to grab at Aku’s own clawed hand over the hilt, careful not to nick himself with the blade, his tone eerily calm despite the raging fire within. The sword was divine? Black Hat’s wrath was equally opposite, if not more so demonic in nature. HE was not as concerned about wounds as he was making a statement that in this god forsaken mansion, Black Hat was supreme and got what he wanted.
“Give me. The FUCKING. Katana. And you will leave unscathed.”
“This is your final warning.”
Despite Black’s efforts, Aku was just as vehemently stubborn about getting his way as he’d ever been. With his hand still clinched around the sword’s hilt, he shoved his fist against Black’s chest, trapping the sword between them. The divine blade trembled in their combined grip, too close to either one of them for comfort but this didn’t stop Aku from leaning in closer yet, his face twisted in a menacing snarl.
“Relinquish the sword to me or relinquish the Samurai,” the yokai demanded, mirroring Black’s note of impending doom. “This is YOUR final warning, Hat.”
Black Hat was not one to back down from ANY impending threat and only got CLOSER, his growling only getting louder. Aku had to learn some manners before he got Black to do anything he wanted.
A sharp shark toothed grin soon took over Black’s face and he laughed, not caring to bring the volume down as he was right up against Aku. He laughed, in a fit of madness, shaking with hysteria. Final warning? That was funny indeed. Black Hat wasn’t aware Aku had a sense of humor, but he was humorous all the same. A final warning? Him?

“You say that like I should be SCARED of you when we all know you’re just a common household demon.”

Visibly enraged, Aku gnashed his teeth as he uttered a string of incomprehensible grumbles and growls that grew louder and louder the longer he struggled to express his anger. The fact of the matter was he was simply too livid to form words, which made him even MORE livid. But one thing was certain—this level of disrespect would not go unpunished. If he couldn’t match the petty onslaught of insults with words, he would do so with equally petty actions.
As a sudden act of impulse, he swung his claws toward Black’s head and—
BAP!
—slapped the hat clean off, sending it toppling to the floor.
“I’ve thought about staying with you permanently before but I’m not entirely sure if I can truly pull it off without feeling utterly homesick though…”
“You are welcome to visit anytime and stay as long as you desire. Perhaps I will create for you a bedroom of your own to use in your visits. Would you like a say in its design?”
“Hey it’s okay, it was just lightning” Alysa lifted up the pillow slightly to see the frightened Aku.
“It’s just nature doing it’s thing, sometimes during the summer we get thunderstorms because of the temperature outside. But if you’re still scared you could stay here for a little while till the storm dies down”.
The demon’s eyes were wide open as his pupils darted nervously to and fro. But as it became clear that it was only the storm and Odin was nowhere around, Aku began to relax once again.
“Yes… I would like that,” he said, not even bothering to reclaim his dignity. He was just relieved to be somewhere safe. Not to mention he was too exhausted to go anywhere. “…I could use a good rest.”
“Oh yeah? Like where? Because I haven’t been to Ikea yet.”
“BLARGH!!”
A beam of white light suddenly hit Flug, vanishing him instantly. Directing his next beam to the nearest bed-substitute, Aku zapped the couch, dropping the scientist onto it unscathed. Another zap and a blanket dropped on top of him followed by a fuzzy teddy bear.
Getting zapped scared him, however when he was dropped onto the couch and everything else thrown onto him he laid there a little stunned.
“Wow.” he said still a little spooked. “You really are a Dad of some kind aren’t you?”
Aku. The shapeshifting master of darkness. The yokai spawned from the void of space itself, just tucked him in like he was a child.
“Did you give your daughter this sort of treatment?”
“Oh yeah? Like where? Because I haven’t been to Ikea yet.”
“BLARGH!!”

He has perfect teeth and his eyebrows are on fleek 24/7.
He’s insanely powerful and a magical ruler of the world who can literally get you anything you could possibly ask for. Also, no one will ever fuck with you again unless they have a death wish.
He’s immortal so you’ll probably die before him unless he decides to make you immortal too with his crazy magical powers.
You are the only being he’s loyal to. Aku is a ‘mates for life’ kind of guy that doesn’t love or trust just anyone.
When he isn’t ranting about the Samurai or being diabolical, he can be a surprisingly good listener and has a genuine interest in knowing your thoughts and understanding your feelings.
Once you get him to trust you and care about you, Aku has a tender and affectionate side to him that’s practically starving for love. He’ll go out of his way to do things that make you happy because he likes seeing you happy and wants to keep you around.
He’s tall and can reach everything you can’t. Literally everything.
While he may think he’s “incapable of love”, Aku is much more human than he realizes. He’s very protective of the things he values and the same goes for people he values. He will do everything in his power to keep you safe.
His beard is super soft and only you will have the privilege of petting it.
He’s a master shapeshifter. Use your imagination. /eyebrow waggle
CONS
He’s an evil Eldritch overlord that’s as old as time?
He can be distrustful and cynical. Even if you tell him you love him a thousand times, a part of him will never fully believe it because a part of him thinks he can never truly be loved.
He can be extremely overprotective, possessive and jealous. Especially if he thinks you might be tempted to leave him for whatever reason.
He will probably spy on you through his spy portal when you aren’t aware of it just because he can.
There are things about him that you can’t change and you’d just have to accept. He conquers worlds. He kills, tortures and enslaves people. It’s his thing and he’s never gonna stop.
He has a short temper and though he would never harm someone he cares about, he can be destructive. He’s also stubborn as hell and if he thinks he’s right about something, it’s extremely difficult to change his mind with words alone.
He has a Samurai who is trying to kill him so he might actually die before you. He’s also pretty paranoid about said Samurai and his moods can fluctuate significantly. He has anxiety and depression related to this.
As much time as he’s had to observe humans and human relationships… he still needs LOTS of help to fully understand how relationships work.
Betrayal, rejection and abandonment are his ‘berserk buttons’. Break his trust and he will absolutely lose his shit.
