At the melting card, Black Hat snickers, only his shoulders bobbing up and down as a result. The other demon’s LOSS, his products were top notch.. He moves, lacing his hands behind him in an oh so smug pose, turning his lack of a nose up at Aku.

“You think I care about that business? It’s just something to DO since retirement has been, quite frankly, boring the hell out of me. Though I have been thinking… If you enjoy fatherhood so much, I might try it as well.”

“Considering… I know someone who has QUITE A FEW CHILDREN to spare…”

Oh for the love of—

That’s not how it works, you Eldritch mess! Children only show true loyalty to their parent-creator, and then only when the proper attachments have been formed. Otherwise they will actively seek to DESTROY you.

If you want children so badly, go make your own!!

Staying silent for the majority of the speech, Black Hat stifled a smirk with a hand in the guise of a thoughtful pose. Then he stifled a laugh. Eventually unable to contain himself in his hysteria, BH doubled over from the effort of taking Aku seriously all disgust and anger forgotten.

“Zero times seven is still…”

Zero….”

What a mathematical genius you are,” Aku sneered down his striped nose. “And how fitting of you to speak of a number that so aptly represents what you know, considering you know nothing about my daughters. Perhaps it is time you return to your day job. I’ve heard you are losing customers.

As he spoke, Aku snapped his fingers. A Black Hat Organization credit card appeared in the air above his hand only to be melted and consumed by flames.

The sum of your organization’s profit subtracted by one is still greater than what was deserved in the first place. Funny how math works.”

“So.”

“You had children against your knowledge, don’t even know the mother, and you think these results are VALUABLE? Do I have my facts straight?”

That’s correct! The results are SEVEN WARRIOR DAUGHTERS who possess all the powers of Aku and who shall remain loyal to me until the end of time! With them at my side, my Empire of Evil shall spread across the universe at SEVEN TIMES the current rate. All who oppose us shall be met with swift obliteration. Even the Samurai with his divine blade will have no hope for survival!

I saw that on a test Aku was a Diamond, HM But what if the Diamond was Aku?

omg I ADORE THIS. THANK YOU!!!

I’ve heard a rumor that there was going to be a Black Diamond (or Carbonado) on the show and the character included some of Aku’s traits. But apparently the character was scrapped. Too bad because that would’ve been awesome!

A fusion between Aku and a Diamond would kick serious ass tho. What would a fusion between Blue and Aku be called? Midnight Diamond? I imagine they would have the power to unleash an unspeakable sorrow that would bring everyone to their knees with crushing despair. However, I have a feeling that Blue/Aku/Midnight would be the one laughing evilly while everyone else is on the floor sobbing.

I got it:  Empress of Eternal Sorrow

defiantdaughter

Ashi could only look on in horror as the city was set ablaze. She had always respected her father’s decisions. In her eyes, he was her idol, and always made the correct choices as a ruler. But this…This wasn’t right.

She turned away from the horrific scene, feeling sick. She couldn’t watch anymore. If this is what it meant to be an empress…She didn’t want to do it. Once the screams ceased, she looked back to see that Aku had finished. “Please stop,” the woman whispered.

Aku gazed down at his work with a cruel grin. Several buildings were being consumed by flames while people rushed for a place of safety that simply did not exist. With nowhere to truly hide from Aku, all they could do was hope his attention would not be drawn to them as they fled. But it was a tactic that would not work, for Aku would find and punish them if and when he chose.

Daughter,” he called. “It is your turn now. Unleash your powers and show them who is Master.”

The damage Aku had done so far was nothing compared to what he’d normally unleash. There were plenty of structures left to burn and crush but he would let Ashi take care of those. After all, it was her learning exercise and Aku couldn’t wait to see her in action.

“She’s leaving isn’t she-” Cinder had walked into Aku’s palace carrying a crumpled up letter in her scarred hands

The yokai didn’t need to guess whom Cinder was referring to — he already knew. He slouched deeper into his throne with a frown that seemed to hang from his face like a wet noodle.

I am afraid so…

“I’ll never understand it… People come and go all the time like clockwork. It’s the natural way things are…”

Her expression soon changed, amber eyes glazing with unspoken words, soon turning into tears of confusion, sadness, but most of all the thing Cinder feared to feel the most…

She felt alone

“I know I should be happy for her…. And I am! B-but why does it always hurt so much when people leave? As much as I hate Gaster, I envy how content he is to be completely isolated… I hate the feeling…”

Soon, the raven haired teen trailed off, gazing up at Aku with empathy… If it hurt her this much to see Azura leave… Aku must feel…. Cinder hesitated, taking small and careful steps towards him, almost akin to how a deer approaches something that may be intimidating. He was so tall…. Luckily she managed to climb enough and briefly hug one of his fingers. When she released the hug, Cinder had wiped her tears, smiling up at the yokai warmly, in an attempt to comfort him. For a brief moment, she thought to herself: Why are you doing this?

The answer came into her mind, clear as day

It’s what Azura would do

“Well, I’m not going anywhere! You can count on that! I may not be as nice or as friendly, but I’d be more than happy to keep you company!”

Aku watched in silence as the girl ascended his throne with much effort all the way to the armrest where his massive hand rested. Then, for reasons he didn’t fully understand yet, she wrapped her arms around one of his talons. But as the demon considered her words, the reason became clear.

He closed his eyes with a sigh. Foolish little mortal. Did she really believe she could keep such promises? After all, no mortal could truly exist forever.

I have existed since the beginning of time. I have witnessed the rise and fall of universes. I have sought refuge on this planet for millions of years and I have ruled it for centuries. And in all that time, not once did I ever care for any other beings. It was Azura who changed that.”

She had done what no being, mortal or otherwise, had been capable of doing. She stirred in him feelings he had never known before and had brought to light a fatherly side of him in time to receive his seven halfling daughters.

Love is a blessing and it is a curse,” he spoke. “And there is no one who is truly safe.

“This is the EXACT REASON you cannot turn your back on mortals you STUPID yokai.”

“Ever.”

YOU EXPECT ME TO BABYSIT THEM ALL? BLEHHH!!

Aku settled back into his throne and spoke again when he was calm.

It matters not. Our actions, though against my expectations, produced valuable results. I would not wish to undo them.”

At least, not in this timeline…
