Though he was still feeling pretty sour, Aku was curious to see what she’d brought him and raised his head a little.

Cinder was leaning on one of the pillars near Aku’s throne. Moving from the shadows, she raked her hand through her hair before speaking. “Aku… I need your honest opinion… I’m at the crossroads of a choice I can make… And either way someone will get hurt-“
The demon had noticed her standing there some time ago but hadn’t bothered to look up. He was reading from some large and ancient-looking tome that hovered in the air before him by way of pure magic. When Cinder stepped forth and began to speak, Aku kept his eyes on the page.
“Go on…” he replied idly. Funny that she would come to him, of all people, with her concerns. But he knew there had to be some reason for it.
A Velociraptor-like creature with a mask approaches Aku’s lair with the speed of sound.After it arrived,the madk retracted and it shouted:”Akuuuuuu!Ready or not here i cooooome!”Then she pressed the Omnitrix symblol from her chest and changed into a red manta ray-like creature and flew down into the abyss where Aku was living.When she reached the bottom of the abyss,it changed back.It was Yerena wearing an Omnitrix. “Heeey!Like my new toy?I borrowed it from an alternate-timeline counterpart!”
“New toy?” Aku leaned down for a better look. “What does it do?”

There was a look of doubt that was clear in her eyes as she hesitated to answer. She thought that she knew who her enemies was before, but after peeking several timelines, the answer eventually became clear.
“Everyone.”

Just started watching Samurai Jack, and I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve lost my shit when I noticed that Aku is in ads.
So like, this shape-shifting motherfucker, the one who took over the Earth and is like all powerful, actual stood in front of cameras and promoted products and something about that tickles my funny bone. It’s like if Emperor Palpatine stood infront of a camera and promoted the new X-Wing toy.

But he’d also do things like pop in on her unexpectedly and demand affection, ‘mark’ her as his own in some way, spy on her because he wants to see what she does when he’s not around (not so much because he doesn’t trust her but because he’s curious and likes looking at her.)
