“I may be ‘old’ by your mortal standards but I am not some feeble organic being hobbled by age!” Aku stamped his metaphorical ‘foot’.

“I may be ‘old’ by your mortal standards but I am not some feeble organic being hobbled by age!” Aku stamped his metaphorical ‘foot’.

“I could fuck FORTY bitches at once!”

“…If I felt like it.”

“Which I do not.”

The demon had noticed her standing there some time ago but hadn’t bothered to look up. He was reading from some large and ancient-looking tome that hovered in the air before him by way of pure magic. When Cinder stepped forth and began to speak, Aku kept his eyes on the page.
“Go on…” he replied idly. Funny that she would come to him, of all people, with her concerns. But he knew there had to be some reason for it.

“…”

The demon lord considered this for a moment. Then a grin spread slowly across his face.
“You don’t say.”

After sitting with arms folded against his chest, the demon finally exploded.
Was it really such a surprise? Aku did indeed fancy the thought of having that kind of power. But in a rather confusing conflict of thought, he felt both guilty and angry. Mostly angry.

“But that does not mean I have plans to take it,” he growled. After all, thoughts and actions were two separate things.

“… Hmph! I know what it is.”
Folding his arms, Aku turned away with nothing further to add.

“Of course not…”
Yes.

“WHA—??”
Aku was startled out of his thoughts when his affectionate alternate cozied up to him. Was it afternoon already? Amused, he slowly relaxed into the embrace.

“Oh, so NOW you like it? What a surprise!” He grinned and lay back.

“Imagine being trapped in a confined space, unable to move, speak or be heard. Now imagine that you have been forgotten in this tiny prison for years upon years with no hope for escape. As you yearn for freedom, you are fully conscious of every passing moment and you wonder if the endless passage of time will slowly drive you to madness.
That is what it was like.”

Uh-oh.
“It is nothing you need concern yourself with yet,” he answered carefully. “Not until you are older. Much older.”
