I believe the reason Aku doesn’t want Jack to die so soon is because he wants the kill for himself perhaps. That and or he wants to humiliate and make him suffer. Like, he could set up a public execution for the whole world to see Jack get killed off. That would get rid all of the hope he put into people. He might not even give the mercy of death and do something like he did with the Lava Monster.

I absolutely believe you’re right. And it’s stuff like this that makes me want to shake him by the shoulders and scream “FOOOOOOOOOL!”

Can I scoot right in and say that you’re a WONDERFUL Aku rper?? Like legit I can hear Mako’s voice in your writing, and you make it seem like Aku is definitely there answering questions. I follow a bunch of Akus, and most of it sounds more like the S5 one, and rarely has there been that sounds exactly like Mako. Keep up the good work! 👌👌👌

Eeee! Thanks so much, Anon! I put a fair deal of effort into ‘hearing’ his dialogue in Mako’s voice when I write him so it’s really good to know that someone else can hear him too.

Which isn’t to say I don’t love Greg’s Aku as well but I’m pretty soft for Mako’s version (and for some reason they sound wildly different in my mind even though they sound kinda similar in my ears? It’s weird!)
