“I am aware of the holiday and the festivities surrounding it but I have not specifically involved myself in its ‘celebration’,” Aku answered candidly. He didn’t care one way or another about holidays unless they had something to do with Aku. But if Azura wanted to decorate the place, he wouldn’t put a stop to it.
As for her second question, the demon actually considered it.

“Hmmm, I am not opposed to Santa Aku Claus…”

“WHERE?!”

“NO IDEA WHO THAT COULD BE!!”

“Mhm, yes. I do recall a young witch appearing in my domain some time ago. She possessed an interesting magical skill.”
By that he meant dangerous. Potentially.
“I considered capturing her then. But based on her answers to my questions, I did not deem her a threat and allowed her to go free. I have not seen her since and I wonder where it is she may have gone.”

“Of all my employees, I can truthfully say hers is the only company I enjoy. She is an excellent listener and is capable of imparting great wisdom beyond her visible years when needed. There are times when I feel she is unhappy and I hope she is aware that if she should come to me, I will happily ANNIHILATE the source of her troubles. It is not often I care for mortals but I do care for her.
It is a shame that a certain daughter of mine was not more like her…”

“The cold does not bother me but I vastly prefer the heat.”

“S I L E N C E,” commanded the demon. He had heard enough.
Unfortunately for this Anon, ‘merciful’ was the polar opposite of what Aku was known to be. The ground between them trembled and cracked, breaking open to reveal more blackness within, as if an ocean of thick, inky darkness lie just beneath the surface.
“NOW,” Aku spoke, his words slow and iced with disdain. “YOU SHALL SERVE OUT YOUR SENTENCE IN THE PIT OF HATE.”
He stirred a single claw through the air, directing it to the open wound in the earth. In response, the sentient tar beneath the Anon obeyed this silent command and dragged its prisoner into the pit.

“No, Azura, I am not dead. I have been very busy as of late. My apologies.” Though he looked (and sounded) exhausted, Aku was pleased to see his little personal assistant.
“It is good to see you are not dead either.” Have a thumbs-up for that.

“Cthulhu?!!”
After a brief moment of internal fanboy squealing, Aku collected his composure.

“I would gladly leave the Samurai to you, oh Great Eldritch One.”
