Aku tapped a knuckle to his chin as he thought. He knew the cat was after him because she sought his power. But why then would she bother the bird? Did she seek bird powers?
“The cat put a bunch of those chips she used on your other self in me but there microchips this time! What do I do!?”
“—!!”
Oh no. Oh shit!
“DO NOT COME NEAR ME!”
She gave a confused look. “I’m a bird I literally cannot harm you… unless…. never mind that….. I’m still in control of myself! Please there has to be something I can do to stop it!”
“They may spread!”
Alright, so maybe Aku was being a little melodramatic. There was no proof yet that the microchips could spread simply from being near someone who had them in their body. Still, it made him uneasy enough to keep his distance.
“…Unless you are able to immerse yourself in lava without dying, I do not have any advice for removing them.”
“I don’t think that’s how this works but I don’t know.” Kangi thought about it for a moment she could turn herself into an Aku but wasn’t sure how immortal she was in that form “I don’t know if I could survive that and I don’t wish to find out.” She started feeling sick and coughed up some oil. “Oh no that can’t be good.”
“No vomiting on my floors! There are RULES against that.”
“I didn’t vomit! I’ll clean it up just give some cleaning supplies and I’ll go home when I’m done cleaning up.”
He looked away with a soft huff.
“…Leave it. You should return to your home. You are too ill to be here.”
