When overcome with boredom or a desire to sleep, Aku will slump over, drag himself around and yawn. He’ll also find something to lean against or drape himself over things. Like most people, he has trouble keeping his eyes open and staying upright. He’s been known to doze off at his throne with his cheek against his fist to keep his head up (though sometimes he slips and his face hits the armrest.)
Bonus: Aku doesn’t snore much when he sleeps but he emits a low rumbling.
Aku has maybe cried once or twice in his entire existence. He only does it when he feels absolutely trapped and powerless.
He is an angry crier who bares his teeth and snarls between sobs but he’s also kind of quiet. He doesn’t wail or anything, he just sort of seethes. He also puts his hands on his head when he cries and covers up his eyes (it doesn’t stop the tears, of course.)
Crying doesn’t effect his speech too terribly and it doesn’t stop him from cursing the world up and down while he does it. He can actually still speak rather calmly but it’s a furious kind of ‘calm’.
When they are surprised by somebody do they physically jump? Scream?
If you somehow manage to startle him, yes, he will jump. He’ll usually shout “WHAT!” or “HUH??” at the top of his lungs (metaphorically speaking since he doesn’t actually have lungs) and sometimes his beard will fluff like a cat’s tail.

A low, involuntary moan slipped out, and his face reddened. Without a moment’s hesitation, the Samurai reached behind to grab the unknown assailant’s arm and flipped them straight over his back into the ground.

Well, Aku was not expecting to find himself sprawled out on his back like this but here he was. He felt like he should be angry but one look at the Samurai’s face staring down at him in horror was enough to make Aku burst into laughter.
