“Oh, I know—!” The guard had no time to react before Aku’s laser eyebeams struck him briefly in the chest. At first it seemed like nothing had happened. But then the guard clutched his chest and toppled over the abyss edge.
Aku’s eyes flashed again and now, in Beast’s palm, there was a fresh heart. Aku grinned as the organ gave one final beat and then was still. Yes, this shall do.
