HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: It varies. For short quick responses I might take as little as a few minutes depending on if I have enough time to sit and RP and I’m not too tired. Other times I’m slow as fuck and can take several weeks. So I’d say average response time is a few days. 

REPLIES: I have been such a lazy writer lately. I typically shoot for a paragraph or two just to keep things moving along. Sometimes I way overshoot and wall-of-text people when I get overly excited. If you receive a long response from me and want me to break it down a bit so your character can get a word in, let me know. Lately I’ve been playing more ‘quick and dirty’ with a line of dialogue and a bit of prose. These threads tend to move a lot faster especially when the other player and I are both around at the same time. More often than not, I try to match the length of whomever I’m playing with. 

STARTERS: I don’t post many open starters. I’ve learned the hard way that I either get too many responses or no responses at all and neither of those are a happy medium for me. Usually if I post a starter, it’s for a specific blog after we’ve discussed a specific idea that we agreed to play. Sometimes I’ll make starters out of a reply or an ask or even a follow notif if I like and know the character well enough. 

INBOX: Always open! Feel free to torment the boi. I can be kinda slow about responding to these if I get stuck on a response. Sorry about that! I love seeing asks in my inbox though.

SELECTIVITY: I’ll play with anyone if I think the characters will have interesting interactions and if your writing gives me something to respond to. It kinda depends on how lazy I am and how well I know your character. 

Important note: I don’t often follow back. But just because I don’t follow you back doesn’t mean I’m not interested or won’t play with you. This blog is not mutually exclusive. I don’t often follow back because of how easy it is for me to get overwhelmed by a fast-moving dash. I’ve unfollowed people I like and regularly play with because they’re so active on my dash and I can’t keep up with it on top of everything else. So you might see me follow, un-follow and re-follow your blog in the course of a month. It doesn’t mean anything bad. I’m just slow. When I have the time, I’ll probably check out your blog the old-fashioned way to keep myself up to date. Also, don’t be afraid to ping me with the @ thing if you want my attention for something.

WISHLIST: Cute and funny things with the boi. Some diabolical shit. Maybe a ship sometime? I dunno. I can’t even pin down a more specific idea right now. … Well except one: I’ve had this AU idea on my mind where Aku is someone’s evil daemon or familiar who is forced to feel that person’s emotions as some sort of punishment (and to forcibly develop empathy.) Hi, I’m weird.

HONEST NOTE: My job is slowly destroying my soul. Sometimes I’m scheduled at ridiculous hours one week and completely opposite hours the following week. As a result I’m often really tired 24/7 with short bursts of wakefulness here and there. It has made me feel so goddamn lazy and just bleh. This might be why Aku is my spirit animal… Though playing him can sometimes make me feel so much better, especially when I get to play him being funny. 

So if I’m taking forever to reply to you, it’s probably because my lazy ass is too lazy to write a better response and I don’t want to stiff you with a shitty response. Also, action-heavy threads will often take the longest. Basically, the more I have to think or write, the longer I take. I fully confess that I suck.

☆║║ Romance, fluff, smut, evil pacts, enemies to lovers. I mean pretty much anything but non-con or underage? So long as there’s chemistry between our characters. I can show you my kink list for him if you want but you’ll have to ask privately. 

I’m not really into m/m ships though (aside from selfcest). Also not interested in furry characters or self-insert characters, sorry. Gore and gross stuff are on my Hard No list. 

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:

☆║║ I’ve made this pretty clear in my rules page. No shipping or smut with characters who are under 18. Definitely no shipping or smut with players who  are under 18. I will not ship with characters who appear underage even if they are older-than-they-look or immortal and I don’t ship with characters who seem childlike in the way they speak or act. 

That said, there will almost always be an age gap when shipping with Aku because he’s as old as time.
