So I had this dream a couple months ago but I thought it was cool so here it is.
Aku, in his efforts to kill Jack, finally lost it and went completely mad. One by one he started murdering Jack’s friends and allies and people/entities he suspected of being friends of Jack regardless of if they actually were or not. He found them by digging his tentacles into the earth like roots and ripping them out from their homes.
Finally he came after Jack and somehow ripped him out of reality and into another dimension. This other dimension was a black void overlooking a portal into an equally black void? Aku could not be seen by this point but he was laughing as he dangled Jack over this portal. It was weird because there wasn’t just one laugh, it sounded like a bunch of different laughs in various pitches (high and low) superimposed over each other but still Aku’s voice.
What I remember very clearly was right at this point, when Aku was about to drop Jack into the abyss, he spoke in this really evil voice: “Now, Samurai Jack, you will join your friends.”
And then Jack started to fall. That’s how it ended.
So now I’m thinking, damn, what if my Aku actually went down this path? Like what if he just… snapped one day? It’s sort of tempting. Maybe I should create a verse where he completely loses it…

the worst punishment aku can imagine is imprisonment. extermination takes care of the problem quickly and efficiently, but locking someone in solitary confinement or leaving them to a special hell they can’t escape from where they just have to wait for someone to come and free them, aku knows from experience these are horrible fates 🙂

So if anyone were to jump into the pit of hate would they just disappear?
I don’t think so. I think they would first be engulfed in black tar, then probably taken to a place where they’d be shackled by tentacles and maybe whipped and beaten. I don’t recall there being an episode that shows the Pit of Hate; it’s always just hinted at being a place of punishment under Aku’s citadel.
