how ‘romantic’ are they? : Not romantic at all! …unless he really, really likes you. Aku doesn’t have much understanding for that kind of thing so his idea of romantic may not be very classic. He’d do things like give gifts to his partner and take her to nice places. But he’d also do things like pop in on her unexpectedly and demand affection, ‘mark’ her as his own in some way, spy on her because he wants to see what she does when he’s not around (not so much because he doesn’t trust her but because he’s curious and likes looking at her.)

Dyou think Aku takes trips to the sun as like, a relaxing retreat almost? I came up with a headcanon a while ago that Aku likes to take a dip in a lava pool every now and again like a hot tub so like, what if he goes to the sun and just curls up inside it for a nap?
I love this headcanon and I approve! Btw Aku enjoying a nice relaxing lava bath every now and then is my favorite piece of headcanon ever.
Recurring things I wonder about:
If Aku wanted Samurai Jack dead so badly, why didn’t he just blow up Jack’s head with one glance like he did to Scaramouche? It would have been so much easier than trying to fight him. On a similar note, why didn’t he use his telekinetic powers to toss Jack over a cliff or steal his sword away?
I mean, I know the technical reason: there would be no show, Aku would win, the end. But trying to come up with an IC reason is baffling. Stupid cartoon logic…
