“That hideous entity has tormented my Azura for far too long,” Aku spoke with narrowed eyes. The worst part of all? He had no control whatsoever over the situation and he hated it. After all, Aku was no hero and he was no being of light. To fight darkness with darkness was pointless and it would only have hurt Azura more. Stepping away had been his only option.
Until now. Make no mistake, the demon lord utterly despised gods, but if this god could help Azura in any way, Aku would lend his support (at least until the ordeal was over.) Most importantly was getting rid of Gaster.
The flames upon his brow flickered as he eyed the god before him and growled:
“He must go.”
Hewatches him before he lifts up his hand and summons tea. He didn’t respond at first, he hadn’t a reason to as the other clearly looks aggravated. Yes, Gaster needed to be dealt with and he had already placed the judgment down. He would be mortal, a human of which he despises and that would not be lifted until he relents or says he’s sorry…
And truly means it.
“He has been rendered mortal, more importantly? Mortal. Azura would not allow me to kill him, or to let Ammut eat his soul.”
“—!!”
Mortal? The god had rendered the doctor mortal? That was a fate worse than death! Aku was stunned silent for several seconds. This should probably be concerning to him… if it were not so HILARIOUS!
Suddenly, Aku burst into a fit of wild and wicked laughter.
“BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! MORTAL YOU SAY? HAHAHA HAAAAAAHAHAHA!!” The demon clutched his gut in hysterics.

Gotta make sure absolutely nobody forgets who the Master of this world is! And that if you disobey him, he’ll eat you like a sandwich and drink your blood like soda!
“Because I am AKU, shape-shifting master of darkness, and I can be any height or size of my choosing.” Clearly, he liked to be as tall and imposing as possible. “What lies beneath me is the Pit of Hate. It is a place of darkness and punishment for those who do not show proper respect to Aku.”
“Fine with me then.” she peered into the darkness. “Should I take a running start, Lord Aku? Or just fall on in with my arms out like that scene from the cinematic Titanic?” She stood on one foot with her arms out, mimicking jumping with a dive.
“Is there a bottom? How dark is it?”
“Ohhh, I don’t know,” he said. “How about you…”
“—FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!”
Aku’s eyes widened with a maniacal gleam as he single-handedly swept her off the edge of the stone outcrop and into the yawning abyss. It would be a long, long drop as the darkness seemed to stretch on for miles into the earth. All the while, his crowing laughter echoed throughout.
“Don’t know, maybe I just deserve to die.” she peered down into the depths. “ But you come up from down there a lot, I just want to see what resides in the dark.”
“I see. Then the worst punishment for you,” the demon grinned, “—is to continue living.” If it weren’t for the glint of pure malevolence in his eyes, his words might be mistaken for motivational speech bullcrap. But this was not the case, for Aku had punished mortals in the past with the curse of eternal life and he would happily do so again.
Careful what you wish for, human. You may just receive the opposite.
“The Pit of Hate is where those who oppose me are sent to receive punishment until they have learned proper respect for Aku. They may remain there for as long as I see fit, even if it means forever.”
Still grinning—now with more teeth—Aku leaned closer to where Casper stood on the ledge overlooking the depths. “But if you are so curious about what resides in the dark, I could arrange for you to spend some time there.”
