This one was a little trickier to avoid. It wasn’t just a blast of hot fire, it was two beams of white-hot light. But Gaster employed the same trick as before- his form wavered and he became less solid, more like a living liquid than a monster.

He rolled out of the way of the beams, dodging the lights as they drew near. Gaster wasn’t entirely sure if they would hurt him if they touched him- but he was in no mood to find out.

Whether the beams could harm Gaster was yet undetermined but they sure did destroy whatever else they touched. The ground beneath erupted in a spray of newly incinerated material, scalding smoke and chunks of debris.
Aku watched from above with hands on his hips, grinning.
“Peh heh heh heh heh,” he chuckled mockingly with a steady rise and fall of his bladed shoulders. “Are you enjoying my wrath, Doctor, what little of it you have seen thus far?”
