She gasped in horror as the first building came crashing down. “What are you doing?!” she shouted. She trusted her father’s judgement, but this…this just didn’t seem right.

“I don’t understand – they haven’t done anything!”

Aku turned to address his daughter, putting a slight pause on his rampage.

“It is the only way, Ashi,” he spoke authoritatively. “These people understand but one thing and that is FEAR.”

Turning away from her, he raised his hands toward the city below, ready to set the buildings ablaze with a torrent of flames from his palms.

“Who did you meet? Were you close? Is she still around or has she DISSOLVED TO THE SANDS OF TIME?”

“Blarghhh! I know nothing about her except that she worships the ground I stand on as all mortals should!” 

“You…reproduced with her AND YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW HER NAME?”

“HOW IRRESPONSIBLE CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE?”

“I have not even seen her FACE! It wasn’t as if I planned for her to drink my essence! How was I supposed to know it was even possible she could become pregnant??”

Well, that certainly got him up for a long hour nap.

“What.”

“I found another time portal in an alternate dimension,” he grinned excitedly. “Do you want to destroy it or shall I?”

Technically, he would be in a mood to destroy it. But now? He was just grumpy of being woken up, and shift his whole weight around to pull the covers up. “No, in fact. I’m not feeling like it.”

Aku sat on the bed beside his counterpart.

“Awh, come on. You want me to put it back where it came from?”
