Have you met Aku’s 7 daughters?

“SEVEN?!”

“Who are you shouting at?”

No one worth mentioning!” Aku growled, then sank into his shoulders with an irate huff. There were worse people for his daughters to meet (the Samurai, mainly) but he wasn’t thrilled about this either.

“…He calls himself Back Hat,” the yokai spoke at length. “And you must never trust a word he speaks. He is a malignant creature almost as powerful as I.

curioosity:

No question about it, Thanos would probably be the worst dad she’ll ever get but i am Afraid that the opposite would happen like it did with Aku and Azzy would genuinely bond with him at some point.

Like the father/daughter thing with Aku was so sweet and unplanned, initially I thought she would try to kill him at some point because the main reason she worked for him was that she could help Jack defeat him, and now she’s an honorary daughter of Aku. She threw a proper funeral for Aku back when she heard the news that he died, managed to throw parties in his honour, and I’m pretty sure she’d fight and defend him if anything happens.

I’m dying squirtle.

Azura had an unexpected impact on Aku and it really brought out his fatherly instincts! Before this he never thought he’d have love for anyone, especially not a mortal and especially not a human. If he has any good in him at all, she totally found it.

He could have been a crazy-ass and locked her up ‘away from the world’ but he didn’t. He could have tried to steal the Infinity stone from her but he didn’t. He could have tried to use her to get to Jack but he didn’t. And if she tried to fight for him, he’d probably teleport her away to somewhere safe.

Azura, I think you broke him…

who are the best dads you’ve had? and the worst?

curioosity:

“My best dad will always be my own dad. I can’t say I have the worst father figure because I don’t?

Jack is a mentor of mine who looks after me and teaches me stuff back when I was in his world, and Aku has been surprisingly compassionate despite his fearsome title. He thought me how to fight properly, gave me a place to stay while I had none, and he checks in on me from time to time, even passed on a weapon that helped me shield myself from Gaster’s attack that one time.

I think that… Mr. Aku is a good father figure I ever had. One could easily assume he’d be the worst but he’s the best to me.” She smiles fondly at the thought.

“…”

That’s his girl.

I stand proudly by the words of my daughter.

Though I will point out that I am still immensely fearsome.

“Oh but it CAN.”

Seeing the disgusted look on Aku’s face was well worth it for the play on words, and Black grinned, holding back a chuckle. The idiot would buy anything he was told if the liar sold it well enough.

“I’m quite good at what I do, and that includes being undefeated.”

Is that so?” The Shogun of Sorrow narrowed his eyes dubiously.

“I can personally guaruntee you will NOT be dissapointed, demon.”

“Don’t you trust me?”

NO!

Not until I have seen one of your tentacles put to the test!

Ashi silently followed her father outside, a look a slight concern on her face; she didn’t have a good feeling about this. She had of course seen her father punish people before, but those were people that deserved; citizens who had broken laws or tried to rise up against Aku. But her people hadn’t done anything. But in Ashi’s eyes, her father did everything for a good reason…she didn’t have any reason to doubt him.

“…What do you want me to do?”

Watch and learn,” he said.

The yokai began to grow, rising to terrible towering heights above the city. Many of the people who were already outdoors began to take notice, watching in fearful silence as the colossal being of darkness rose to the sky. His outstretched claws seemed to scrape the clouds as he reached toward the sun and the sky over the city began to darken as storm clouds gathered overhead.

More and more people trickled out of their homes to see what was happening and stood frozen in place at the doomsday scene unfolding before them. Children ran into the arms of their parents, animals raced for cover. But the real terror had yet to begin. Aku grinned at the sight of mortals cowering below, then turned his sights on Ashi to make sure she was paying attention.
