Even though Aku saw through his
bragginglie, Black smiled. It was worth it to see such an entity so mad they could not function or form words correctly. Idly, Black wondered if said enemy had caused AKU problems as well. Pesky heroes, always sticking their fingers in other people’s business…

“I would hardly classify some annoying government agency to be heroic enough to be considered MY enemy, but who knows? Maybe if I throw them in a portal of time I can put off dealing with like a coward?”
If only those foolish heroes would go stick their fingers in a wall outlet instead. Aku would be happy with that. He was not AT ALL happy about that coward comment, though. Nothing stung quite like the truth.

Aku gave his Nyarlathotepian cousin a hard, silent glare. The flames of his brows flickered madly while a few irate sparks broke away. Flinging the Samurai into the future had been one of his greatest follies, he knew. The other had been underestimating the Samurai’s sheer power of will. But, of course, there was something else the mortal had on his side that gave him an unfair advantage.

“You may have destroyed many a righteous fool in your time, as have I. But when the fool has the favor of the gods on his side, it is not so easy.”
